Hi. We are in a group of 10 people of ages 6 years to 50+. We are planning ti visit darjeeling from 29th to 1st jan. Please suggest which all places we can see and how to travel form bagdogra to darjeeling too. Also in case we plan to travel to gangtok too between these dates then would that be possible too. Need suggestions please.
Day1 Arrival at Bagdogra & transfer Gangtok. Stroll around http://M.G.Marg
Day2 Gangtok. – Nathula Pass (except Mon/Tue), Baba Mandir & Tsomgo Lake.
Day3 After breakfast, Gangtok to Darjeeling, after check-in to the hotel - Peace Pagoda, Zoo, HMI, Tea Garden.
Day4Darjeeling - Toy Train ride, Ropeway ride, afternoon – shopping or roaming around the Mall area.
Day5 Darjeeling - Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery followed by return journey.
Edited: 09 November 2021, 11:21During December and January visiting to Darjeeling and Gangtok will not get opportunistic to visit some lake, or passes, much better choose Apr to enjoy, first make trip to Darjeeling for 3 days, don't miss tiger hill, to visit tiger hill need to early sleep, wake up at 3AM, one day earlier to book cab to reach and pick your stay place and, Don't miss toy train and Nightingale garden. then trip to Gangtok, either book or get share cab stay in Gangtok 4-5 days visit all places, flower show, ropeway, Lachung, Phudong, Nathula Pass, Tsomgo Lake etc.
