If you love cold then its good time,also off season so not too crowded,but if snow is also in your expectation list then Darjeeling is not.Though you had asked only for Darjeeling but 5 days are too much for Darjeeling unless you have plans to just chill and eat,you may add one more place preferably in Sikkim,Pelling or Kaluk can be a good option for honeymoon.

Possible but start little early,it's around 3 and half hour journey so starting at 8 would be safer .
