what is good time to visit kabini...also i ma finding thew orange county and other resorts tad too expensive, so are there any value for money resorts in that area

Kabini has tourists all round the year. But best months are October to March. Not sure of the budget , but you can check Kabini River Lodge which is very good and is a cheaper alternative.

For the best wildlife sightings in Kabini, one should visit during summer (March - May). I would recommend "The Bison" which is the only bush camp in Kabini and rightly priced for the ambiance and personalized services they provide.
