We are travelling to Montenegro via Dubrovnik airport. One of our party is prescribed with the medication Tramadol and we are trying to find out if it is legal to have this medication both countries to avoid anything untoward happening

Not in Sveti Stefan, you have some clinics in Budva, which is 20 min away and ask them for advice. I had a concussion last year and went to one of the clinics, very professional, so you will be in good hands.

I know from a painful personal experience that Tramadol is a legal prescription drug in Croatia (at least it was two years ago).

I have no reason to assume otherwise in Montenegro.

This is not Egypt.
