If you plan to travel in and around via cab/car, do not hire any vehicles of Om Shanthi Travels, of Rameshwaram, as they are fraud, they won't show you any place they promise, and if they would you will have to pay extra Rs. 9 per km. Also they are good in sending 4-5 people for fighting anywhere from Rameshwaram to Madurai.

Avoid them to remain away from trouble.

Hi Pawan,

Welcome to Trip Advisor.

If you are planning only Rameswaran, then the things to do or visit would be the following...

1. Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple

2. Pamban Bridge

3. Dhanushkodi

4. Kothandaramar Temple

5. Ramar, Seetha & Lakshmana Theerthams

6. Mandapam

7. Various Beaches in & around

You may also check on the Catamaran Rides, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving and also some water sports which have come up now.

There are also many places of religious importance in a radius of 50 kms.

Feel free to revert for any clarifications,

Regards

Prasanna
