Hi there
Travelling solo in Rajasthan is totally safe & secure for female travellers, But with extra care. Drive during day time, stay away from lonely places. Wear comfortable Clothes- Usually nights are cold & days are hot in Rajasthan. Always try to wear loose fitting clothes. And carry a light Stole or Shawl with you in case you need to protect your skin from sunlight or cold or cover up while visiting religious places, as you know Rajasthan is a cultured place so dress decently and follow dress code on some places like- at Temples.
As you know Hugging and kissing to your partner or for welcome in public are considered inappropriate in Indian culture.
Smiling, eye contact & friendly conversation (for women) can be taken in the wrong way. If you feel unsure, try to stay away & show that you're confident. When you Chit chat with locals, you will come to know Rajasthan deeply but same time be aware of the common scams.
When you going to buy something from street markets or shops, don't be afraid of Bargaining, Be a good Bargainer.
Explore outside of cities, specially Villages or Dhani (smaller then village) of Rajasthan, where you can see the truly Rajasthan. Beware of Scammers and Look after your Health.
Travel itinerary :- Delhi - Mandawa/Shekhawati - Bikaner - via Deshnok Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Ajmer Pushkar - Jaipur - Delhi or other way around.
For your comfort & save extra time, you can skip Jaisalmer & get Dunes activities at Pushkar or any village nearby Jodhpur like- Keechan/Kichan, Osian.
Hope it helps :)
Thanks & Regards
Bajrang Jat
