The proper official taxi price 'should' be about £2.50 to Nabq bay were your hotel is but you'll never get it at that price from the airport because they'll try and rip you off good style and want about 10 times that.

After a long flight I never want to bother with all the haggling nonsense with the taxis so I always book a private transfer, they are very reasonably priced there are lots of company's offering that service but we use Sharm Club who are reliable and safe drivers.

We have always used Jasmine Tours very reliable we paid £15 return, like PT said there are loads of company's offering airport transfers and they are all reliable companies.

Private transfers are "very reasonably priced" compared to the uk,but this isn't the uk,it's Egypt and those prices are "salty" at best. Deisel is about 12p a litre.Your call but paying over the odds makes that price the status quo and after sooner or later the taxi drivers will expect the locals to pay up as well.
