Alexandria to Baltimore Airport for a 6am flight

We will be staying at the Century Plaza in June and need to be at Baltimore Airport for a 6am flight to Vancouver. Any ideas on how much a taxi could cost. Shuttle too late and also doesn't go to Baltimore?

According to the BWI website, the approximate cost of a taxi from BWI to Alexandria is $105.00 You have to contact a local Alexandria cab company (phone number provided in link) to find the return rate as it may differ.

You might also want to look at Super Shuttle. Their rate would be around $60 for two people.

You could consider staying at the airport the night before to avoid getting up at a totally ungodly hour instead of a partially ungodly hour. Spend your day in Alexandria or DC and take an 8 or 9 pm shuttle to the airport.

There is a significantly less expensive way to get to the airport by public transport. Cost is 9:00 per person and only takes about 40 minutes longer than a shuttle bus.

Just for kicks here is a possible itinerary from the metro website..

Thanks so much for the time and trouble you've taken to give this info. Normally, in these circumstances I would stay at an airport hotel when I had such an early flight but we are coming back on a tour and are booked into a hotel in Alexandria so it would cost more to stay at another hotel than the cost of the shuttle and the early start. Love Trip Advisor, someone always has the answer. Thanks once again.
