That depends on which airline(s) you are using and whether you are arriving and leaving at the same terminal. You don't provide enough information to answer your question.

As #1 reply has mentioned, we need more information.

If you have not booked it on a single ticket, you will be very pressed for time. Flights for Langkawi leave nearly every hour. Leave yourself more time in case your first flight is delayed.

READ THIS IF YOU BOUGHT CONNECTING FLIGHT TICKETS SEPARATELY:

(Skip this part if you bought a single/packaged connecting flight ticket)

From my experience, Kuala Lumpur Terminal 2 rarely gets jam-packed and they really depart on time with no delays. Since you only have less than 2 hour layover, that's very critical. You can possibly do it but it will put you in too much pressure. Kuala Lumpur airports might have long lines/queues at the immigration depending on the number of airplanes that arrived at the same time. I don't have any idea about Terminal 1 as I've only ridden Air Asia (which is at Terminal 2) going to and leaving from there.

If you arrive internationally and depart domestically at the same terminal, there will be less worries and pressure. You might even still have extra time the moment you get to the departing lounge. However, the queue at the immigration desks are always unpredictable.

But if you arrive internationally and depart domestically at two different terminals, your case will be too critical and put pressure to your time management. The two airports are not located beside each other. You have to take the bus which might have 2-10 mins waiting time (you cannot even make sure that there will be a bus right away when you leave the terminal premises, so that will add up to your waiting time). Same situation if you take the KLIA Ekspres/Transit (no guarantees if there will be a train right away when you get to the platform but the train leaves immediately though).

For an easier option which I cannot exactly answer, there might be an airside transfer for separately bought connecting flight, but I'm not sure about this because I haven't experienced it.

Another struggle is your luggage. It will cost another time to get your luggage out and check it in again for your next flight. The queues are very not guaranteed and unpredictable.

That's why it is always advised that you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your departure time for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights.

Based on my experience, I've managed 1 and a half hour from the entrance of the airport up to the boarding gate at KLIA terminal 2 for a domestic flight. It wasn't rushed, I still had enough time to neat up at the rest room and wait at the departure lounge. But this is always not the case.

READ THIS IF YOU BOUGHT A SINGLE/PACKAGED CONNECTING FLIGHT TICKET:

There should be no problem in this case regardless of the terminal you will arrive internationally and depart domestically. You will skip the immigration process at KLIA/KLIA2. You will do the immigration process at Langkawi International Airport. Since it is classified as a single ticket from point A to point B (instead of point A to B to C of a separately bought tickets), it will be considered as an international flight from your home country to Langkawi, therefore you will do the immigration process at Langkawi International Airport.

If you arrive internationally and depart domestically at the same terminal, there will definitely be no problem. Once you arrive at KLIA terminal, you can just transfer within minutes to the departing lounge for your Langkawi flight.

But if you arrive internationally and depart domestically at two different terminals, your airline must be responsible to transport you to the other terminal via airside which can be done in minutes as well.

Your luggage in this situation does not need to be picked up and checked in again. It is considered as a single A to B flight, so the airline shall be responsible in transferring your luggage to your next flight.

Cheers!
