Hi can anyone please suggest where the best place to exchange money would be if staying near to The Face Suites ?. Thanks
Japan Bukit bunting. there is 2 of the best money exchanger shop ever.. avoid malls or hotels or black-market peopleEdited: 03 August 2018, 22:47
Thank you for the prompt reply.
Actually money changers in shopping malls have excellent exchange rates.
I agree with posts 3 and 4. I found excellent exchange rates last year at the Pavilion Mall, where I exchanged Vietnamese Dong for Ringgit. There is one on level 1 and another on level 2. Another place to exchange money, especially if you happen to pass through there, is KL Sentral, on the ground floor. If you're coming from the airport by train, this can be very convenient.
Watch out people, if you are booking with Expedia. They play the bait and switch with the hotel rates.
Hotel was advertised at $110 and they charged me $115 per night. After two hours of negotiation, I finally got them to refund me. Very deceitful and disrespectful
Not really a post #6 , that has anything to do with the question asked. Maybe start a new thread.
Thank you all for your replies. Much appreciated.
Do the Currency Exchanges have a preference on the denomination i.e $20 or $50 or $100. Australian.
Is the rate better for the higher notes. thanks
No , as long as the notes are in good condition. I would stick to 50 and 100 dollar notes. Plenty of options all around KL, Adam.
