I was only thinking yesterday that we haven't had a whiner for some time!

Great review CB and exactly how 8 of us saw it in Sept.

Glad I wasn't there when the whiner was!

Seconded!

Excellent review, and exactly as we found it as well. Glad you enjoyed it so much after your prolonged wait :)

Just one comment about the Moodhu...I can see why AI drinks are only included when you eat there. It's only small, and such a fabulous location that people would just use it as a bar and not eat there - which would overcrowd the place for people wanting to dine. You're right about the food at Moodhu, we ate there for probably half our evening meals even though we'd upgraded to AI. We loved it! Not that there was anything wrong with the main restaurant food which we found to be as good as you commented on.

cheers

HI CB

thank you for your excellent review, I know wish I would'nt have to wait another 52 days to finally touch ground at reethi. So so excited.

Can you give me a rough idea on prices for the souvenier shops paintings?

Thank you

The size I bought cost $35 US. Here is a picture of it:

It measures about 20 X 16 inches in size.

He also does large paintings about 4 X 3 feet. They are about $250.

Thanks for the picture CB, I shall check out the shop.

The bigger pictures might be a problem for the transport :)

Rumpole - I believe in miracles, there happen every day :)

I love buying stuff from the locals. You can watch them painting and then buy . It's not just a nice souvenier but you also help/support them by buying something.

50 days till Reethi Beach. Very Excited
