If there is enough time Sannai-Maruyama Iseki with nearby Aomori Museum of Art are worth considering. The bus ride from Aomori station to the Aomori Museum of Art is less than 25 min, and there is a short free shuttle between the art museum and Sannai-Maruyama Iseki.

If time is really limited, within walking distance of Aomori station are the Nebuta Museum WA-RASSE, ASPAM, A-Factory, Hakkouda-maru, view of Aomori Bay Bridge and Shinmachi shopping street. For food go for fresh seafood in Furukawa Fish Market or the Auga Fish Market. Slightly a longer walk is the interesting Aomori Yatai Mura, but note that most eating places there only open after 17.00.

Hello

Please help advise.

We are planning to visit Hokkaido late Oct-early Nov. Plan to visit Sapporo, Lake Toya, Noboribetsu, Hakodate, Aomori and Iwate.

We plan to rent car.

We plan about 15 days trip.

Please advise if we should start our trip at Aomori, Iwate ? or we should start from Chitose?

If we start at Chitose, better that we rent & return car at Hakodate. Take train from Hakodate to Aomori and rent car on arrival and vice versa if we start at Aomori.

We would like to end our trip at Sapporo.

Thank you.

#2, better start your own itin/questions in a separate thread instead of hijacking others. State your landing and departing airports in Japan.
