List of stops and attractions

Hi Friends,

We will be taking a day trip to Hakone (and may return again the day after if need be but can't stay overnight). I was hoping to find a link that shows what stops have certain attractions? I'm a little confused but from what I've seen is that there are a couple of stops that align with certain attractions.

Happy to be told I'm wrong.

Thank you

1. Re: List of stops and attractions

Most people use the following Hakone Round Course.

1) Hakone Tozan Tetsudo (Hakone Climbing Railway).

The Hakone Open Air Museum is a few steps from Chokoku No Mori Station on the Hakone Tozan Railway (30 minutes, 400 yen from Hakone-Yumoto, covered by the Hakone Free Pass), the last station before the terminal station of Gora.

2) Hakone Tozan Cable Car.

3) Hakone Ropeway.

Owakudani, a station along the Hakone Ropeway between Sounzan and Togendai, is the area around a crater created during the last eruption of Mount Hakone some 3000 years ago. Today, much of the area is an active volcanic zone where sulfurous fumes, hot springs and hot rivers can be experienced. Additionally, Owakudani has good views of Mount Fuji on clear days.

4) Hakone Sightseeing Boat.

5) On foot.

From Hakone-machi to Moto-Hakone.

6) Hakone Tozan Bus.

From Moto-Hakone to Hakone-Yumoto.

I found Hakone Navi really helpful, especially when looking for how to get to sights less publicised in English, and having easy links to transport maps and timetables: https://www.hakonenavi.jp/english/

This is great. Thank you so much. Probably the best response from any of my TA queries. Appreciate your help.
