" The Holiday Add Ons "

Has anybody experianced the same as me.

The money add ons on travel insurance, airport

parking etc.

Example:- Our travel insurance

cost of insurance, the premium charge, & now

if I wanted our insurance documents sent by post

a extra £1.49p charge or down load all the paperwork.

Example:- Airport Parking.

I am a member of the AA so I get discount on airport

parking. Booked for a week at airport, same again

a charge if I need document to be posted to me.

Also if I thought that we may need to change our plans

I would be covered by paying a insurance premium, if

I don't pay the premium I can not change the dates or

times or car.

Hi Yorkieborn,

the cost of airport parking is a complete RIP OFF. Cardiff want £70 for first 2 weeks in August.

That is to park on waste ground out in the open.

What the hell do they do for the £70.

Hi Yorkie. Did you enjoy your Tunisian Holiday???

I got ripped off by Alpha Rooms, they chjarged me £15.00p to send my Airplane Ticket in the post. I realise now I should have down loaded it, but for some reason, I ended up requesting it be sent.

I could have gone to their Offices & Picked it up myself I lot cheaper, but it the old story, You Live & Learn.

But can not work out how they justify the £15.00p charge. But did any one see the BBC Programme `Don`t Get Done Get Dom` 2 weeks back.?? That was about what Airports & Operatots are now loading onto the Holiday cost. We will all need to be extra careful in checking the small print.

Hi Lulabellsheff,

Brilliant holiday, treated like Lord & Lady muck.

Sorry to hear about Alpha rooms episode, but

we had no problem with them.

It was them that got us evening meal in Oykun

hotel for 10pence each day.

Cost us £1.40 each for the 2 weeks there, hotel

price was £140 each for 2 weeks there.

Saved £277.20p on evening meals, but we did

go out alot.
