Sloped swimming pool for wheelchair user?

Sorry me again, going with children plus in laws and parents, dad is a double amputee and wheelchair user. Looking for a good hotel perfect for children and a big ask but a swimming pool with a sloped entrance so my dad can be wheeled into the pool!? Been searching for days and the hotels don’t tend to get back to my emails!!

Not sure of ramps, but Novotel Vintage Park in Patong has some low gradient steps into the pool.

Yikes. Have you attempted a phone call rather than email?

I have never seen a pool in Thailand with either a sloped ramp or a pool side hoist. Have you tried searching for disabled travelers websites? They might have such info.

Sunwing Kamala is a great kids hotel. PLUS there is gradual pool entry into the main pool - ie no steps.

I believe there are a few in phuket, Centara Grand Karon also has gradual entry pool

travelinallover - Doesn't Centara Grand have a raised lip around the entire pool, thus blocking a wheelchair from being pushed down into the pool (which is what the OP needs).

Hi, Banthai beach resort has a slope into the pools. The slope is quite rough (to sit on) so should be fairly grippy. It also has a couple of little slides for the kids.

Splash JUngle has them, and one of the Centara hotels is attached to Splash Jungle.

Hi.

I've stayed at Centara Grand in Karon a few times and agree that the edge of the pool has a stepped lip around it preventing a wheelchair being pushed in. What it does have is great young life guards who would be more than happy help get him in.

Hope this helps.

About 5 years ago we walked through the pool area of Andaman Embrace Hotel. I am almost 100% sure they had a sloping pool. Contact them as it might have changed in the mean time.
