Songkran celebrations in Khao Lak, albeit enjoyed by everybody don't last as long as in other destinations. They start about 10am on the 13th April and are usually finished by 5pm so dining out in the evening continues much as usual. Beach restaurants do good business during the day for those who don't want to get wet other than in the ocean!

If you mean Peter Bar on Nang Thong Beach it may not be there next April. It could be removed when the new Holiday In which is behind it is completed. There are plenty of others further up past the La Own Resort though.

Thanks for that Arandora was looking foward to chillin out at Peter bar watching the sunset over a few Singha beers and having dinner ., I take it we will not have far to walk to find similar bars we are staying at The Sands .
