Closure of Beach Restaurants again?

There are rumors in the German Khao Lak Forum that Beach Restaurants have to close down again. Someone whrites, that they have been eating Friday evening in a beach restaurant behind Ramada. The owner told them, that he has to close end of mai and he doesn't suppose that he will be able to open again. He sais that this is a government order again.

Does anyone know more. Could also be that this concerns the restaurant directly in front southwards of ramada, where the new Resort is under construction actually.

But strange anyway, because the owner of My Friends was sure (February 16) to be able to continue his business. He said his business is outside of the resorts property.

I understood it to be the restaurants to the left of the Ramada which had been given permission by both the land owner, the La Flora Group, and the military and Phang Nga Provincial Authority, to relocate temporarily until the new La Flora Resort was completed when any remaining area not forming part of the new resort frontage would be reconsidered. Judging by the length of fencing from the Ramada and behind these restaurants there will only be limited space left near the creek. Restaurants behind the Ramada are on the road leading up to the centre of the beach road so I cannot see how any of those are affected by beach closure orders. Lots of rumours appear in the Low Season, the truth or otherwise only becoming apparent as time goes by.
