Looks great, far better than the previous,

what low rise building is in the background.

Perfect weather is seems for quite a few days after a soggy past few weeks

Looks like a new resort, doesn't it? Wasn't there, well not at that height anyway, when we left in April and presumably when you left just after that. Perhaps CruiseMonkey or any other member there at the moment could find out. I know that Katathani bought some land near there for a "countryside" resort actually in the countryside. Perhaps this it.

Over the last six days we've had the bluest skies we've ever seen during Green Season in Khao Lak:

Not sure which building you're looking at on the webcam:

khaolaklanddiscovery.com/cam/Khao-Lak-Land-D…

Nothing appears to have changed in that area around the traffic lights at Bang La On. The terracotta coloured roof is Kinaree Bakery and the building just north is a private house.

The building referred to is the 3 or 4 storey one looking south back from the highway on the mountainside going out of town about opposite Mc Donald's.

The reference to "low rise" threw me. Four storeys in Khao Lak says high rise to me. :-)

It certainly looks like accommodation of some type and has a rather striking colour scheme of a charcoal coloured building with various vivid colours highlighting the windows. Stay tuned for more info if available.

Excellent picture quality too.

Coincidetally we've just booked to stay in Bang La On for the first time, so even more excited about this years visit now.

Does anyone know of any other webcams for other parts of thailand?
