Visiting Phuket in September

Hello we are visiting Khao Lak in September...can you please suggest the activities that can be done in the month. We have kids with us..the smallest being 4 years old.

Also, some friends sugget Phuket is better than Khao Lak...we r looking for a fun filled holiday with kids with a mix of relaxing and and group activities

Kindly advice

1. Re: Visiting Phuket in September

September is usually the wettest month of the year on the West Coast that covers both Khao Lak and Phukett although it will still be hot and you should get plenty of sun. As Khao Lak is essentially a beach holiday there is more to do on Phuket when it rains than in Khao Lak. Assuming good weather iif you have a look at tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTopic-g297914-i10908-k… you will see pics of the popular things to do in and around Khao Lak. Be aware though that there will be no snorkel trips to the Similan, Surin Islands and Koh Tachai in September as they close from May to October.
