Apsara BeachFront Resort

My husband and I are planning to stay at Apsara from April 5 to 10 as we are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. We love being at the beach and pool but just as important, we like leaving the hotel so that we can venture out into town. Are there a vairiety of restaurants and stores close by? Also, is the hotel fairly new?

Thanks.

The Apsara is located on the secluded Cape Pakarang facing the lovely Pakarang beach - see pics at https:/… including some of the Apsara and nearby resorts. There are limited dining options nearby both on the beach facing at Memories and just further on Khai's then a few more down the beach road. Enough for 5 days though. If you want more the main townships of Bang Niang and Bang la On are 20/25 minutes away by shuttle or taxi.

The Apsara was rebuilt after the 2004 tragedy which makes this hotel around 9 years old since reopening...

Would you agree Alan...??...
