Are taxi drivers allowed into the Marriott?

Hello, if we use a taxi to drive us to dinner, eg Boss, are they allowed into the Marriott to pick us up? We have stayed at other hotels where we had to walk to hotel entrance to get taxi.

Many thanks !!

Hi

Boss and other taxis from town dropped and picked us up with no problem (nov 2013).

We would get he shuttle into town and a taxi / tuk tuk back and boss took us to and from airport.

Have a great time!

Thanks Murph. Is the shuttle 300 baht? and is that per person? What did the taxi from town cost?

Regards

Hi

The marriott shuttle was 100 THB per person (200 total for is as a couple) one way and 300 THB one way for taxi.

We preferred to pay the extra 100 for the taxi if the shuttle was full to go out and on the way home so we could come back anytime instead of scheduled pick ups. Always heaps of taxis in Thailand :)
