Getting to Khao Lak from Krabi or Phuket

We are going to Phuket on 12/02, planning to stay on Kamala beach for 2-3 nights, then to Phi Phi for couple of nights and further plan is not certain yet as we want to spend few nights in Khao Lak.

Wanted to ask for an advise what would be better to go to Krabi from Phi Phi, stay there for 2 nights and then go to Khao Lak (by car or bus? how long will it take? ) or come back from Phi Phi first to Phuket and from there go to Khao Lak?

Hi Tanya

It depends on whether you want to go to Krabi, if that is on your agenda then go Phi Phi to Krabi then on to Khao Lak. We did this last October. We used Boss, it was 2500 baht for 4 adults in an suv and took just over 2 hours from Ao Nang to Nang Thong Beach.

You can contact Boss on cheaperkhaolak1@gmail.com

If you don't want to do Krabi get a ferry back to Phuket and get Boss to pick you up at the wharf. We did Phuket-Khao Lak with him the October before, I think it was 1800 baht from Nai Harn, 4 in an suv again. Contact Boss for current rates, cars are all new, drivers we've had in 10 trips with him have all been good, and they have always been on time.

Have a great holiday,

Terry
