Going to Khao Lak today a few quick questions

Sorry slipped and hit submit too early. I know that you only tip regular taxi drivers a small amount if at all , but not sure about this since it is a longer drive.

Finally, is there a good hygienic manicure/ pedicure place near Beyond Resort (or in the main towns) that you would recommend?

Many thanks! So looking forward to relaxing on the beach!

If you look on the highway near the entrance to the Beyond you will see various advertising laundry. We use one in Bang Niang so can't comment on what any are like. As for hygienic massage/pedicure places, we have found all of the beach massage places hygienic albeit simple. There is a row of restaurants, bars and massage places to your right across the creek and one that seems popular with guests from the Beyond and Le Meridien in between the two resorts to the left. If you want enclosed, air-conditioned places then you need to take taxi or shuttle into Bang Niang 20 minutes down the road or Bang La On 5 minutes further on where most restaurants, shops, bars and massage parlours are to be found.
