Update to Beach Restaurants near JW Marriott

Experiencing the first bit of rain here today after a marvellous sunny week at the JW Marriott. Still plenty of sun as well so very happy people.everywhere.

Just an update on the beach restaurants which we have visited every day. Phen, Andaman and Blue Mist. Blue Mist owners showed us last night the new location of their restaurant, should be moving next month, only just behind their current location, wooden frames up but apparently then moving the current building back with lots of helpers. The high tide is certainly quite exciting at the restaurants, water coming quite close and a bit interesting reaching them at high tide but still worth the effort.

Still serving all that great food, plenty of people eating at the restaurants each night, still have not ventured further up the beach, lights are on at night so not sure which restaurant is there.

Glad you had good weather and nice to hear that the restaurants aren't moving too far. Enjoy the rest of your stay.

Moving the restaurants back like this is a sensible move and should secure their viability and safety for the property and customers alike throughout the year.
