Muay Thai Training Camp in Khao Lak

The long established and respected Rawai Muay Thai Camp opened a brand new, purpose built boxing and fitness training centre in Khao Lak at the end od the last High Season. As well as comprehensive training facilities including 4 large rings and qualified instructors, the Camp has accommodation, a restaurant and a pool.

It is located on the mountain side of the highway as you leave Khuk Khak about 500 metres before the turning for the J W Marriott Resort. Turn right from the highway where there is a signpost for the Camp and for Riverside Bungalows. The Camp is on your left about 500 metres at the end of the small Soi.

It really is an impressive facility and very welcome addition to the range of activities in Khao Lak

which will get a boost in Thai Boxing and visitors since the parent Camp has closed its Camp in Rawai and will operate from Khao Lak only. The Phuket Camp was a magnate for visitors from all over the world to practice this sport.

I posted that information in good faith because that is what I was told via a friend of the owner who now lives in Khao Lak. Following your post I understand the camp on Phuket is operating under new ownership rather than new management.
