are the beaches free of stringers in April/May ??

hello everyone

after some info on the beaches around Koh Lak? I have read that most beach restaurants and beach activities are not available during the off season. We are wanting to included both in to our holiday. Do you think Koh Lak is a good choice? or can someone recommended another quieter area where the beach is good in April / May

Thanks Katrina

There are jelly fish on all Thailand beaches throughout he year, most often they are unseeen and undetected. They should not, in my view, be a reason for not visiting Khao Lak. The Wet Season is May to October but the weather depends on the arrival of the annual monsoon and its severity. There will be beach restaurants available in April and May. Depends what you mean by beach activities.
