The diving along the Khao Lak Coastline, Is it mostly Boat or beach ?

Could someone also recommend a Hotel with a Dive Shop also.

hi , nearly all the diving is done from a boat with the similan and surin isles being the most popular.

I know from staying there that the le meridian has a dive shop which I believe is called bees.

pretty sure that the resident de arandora will be along shortly to better advise you of others.

The J W Marriott also has a Dive Shop as have other resorts. These are mainly dive equipment sales or rentals, dive tour bookings and some tuition for hotel residents in the resort's pool.However, the Loma Resort located half way between the two main townships of Bang La On and Bang Niang on the mountain side of the highway is owned and operated by Loma Divers and is favoured by many divers as it has on-site training and tuition. It is only a small resort but the Palm Hill Resort next door is used as "overspill".
