Help with new plans 29 April to 14 May 2013

Our plan was to spend 5 nights at the Marriott - Khao Lak (booked)

Meet up with friends in Krabbi for 4 nights - (not booked)

Ferry to Phi Phi for 2 nights - (accommodation booked)

Spending last 4 days in Patong.(accommodation booked)

Friends not coming now & maybe do something different.. 4 days up our sleeve, just throwing it out there if anyone has any ideas. Don't mind if it is really quiet Island .. anything in the middle of Khao Lak and Phi Phi???

Must say just love the great assistance I have received from all to get this far so thankyou.

"anything in the middle of Khao Lak and Phi Phi?"

- a lot of land and an awful lot of sea. ;-)

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Krabi or Ko Lanta are probably best options.

Suggestion for the remaining 4 days either continue with krabi or try out Phang Nga bay (James Bond Island) which I believe is between Khao Lak and Phi Phi. Cheers!!!

No accommodation on James Bond Island last time I was there.:-) There is some on Koh Panyee, the floating Muslim Village.

Lanta might be a bit of a long journey.

Ko Yao, north of Phi Phi, or Klong Muang near Ao Nang in Krabi. The latter might be better for the ferry connection to Phi Phi.

Either still do Ao Nang, Krabi or preferably, spend the 4 days at Khao Lak at either Bang Niang or Bang La On / Nang Thong Beach. Closer to all the restaurants & markets. There will be plenty of rooms available at either. There are good deals at the moment on Scoopon and travelzoo for KL hotels.

I'm sure Boss can arrange a transfer for you to meet the Phi Phi ferry from Phuket to get to Phi Phi.

spend a few nights in khao sok jungle. lovely area, either in khao sok itself (perhaps a tree house?) or on the lake ion a lakehouse, or both. There are packages available or you can make your own arrangements.

or have a look at elephant hills tented camp.
