exchange rates

Hi can anyone tell me the exchange rate at the minute in khao lak, we are getting 47 baht to the pound, in England at the minute.

Please read FAQ referred to by NB1 particularly in relation to the use of Debit Cards and charges if you intend using one. Travellers Cheques are a cheap and safe way of exchanging money. Changing sterling is cheapest and best rate but you need to be certan of good safe keeping until you need to change.

No need to change in UK before you leave. Better rate out here.

Thanks for the info, if exchanging cash i wont need any ID in town like with travellers cheques will i?

We've never been asked for ID when changing cash at the money exchanges. Unexpectedly, in July last year, the banks in Bang La On wanted to see our passports before they would exchange Australian dollars for baht.
