Honeymoon in Khao Lak in November where to stay?

Hi I am planning on going to Khao Lak in November for my honeymoon for 7 nights. I was initially looking at Le Meridien or the Marriott? What are your thoughts? Or any other suggestions wouldnt spend more than AUS$200 per night. Thanks

The Ramada & La Flora on Bang Niang Beach, the New Beyond Resort Khao Lak just up past Le Meridien on Pak Weeb Beach, the Paradise on Sunset Beach all have the location and private options for a honeymoon.

I just got back from my honeymoon in Khao Lak and we chose the Sarojin - it was divine :)

I think we paid between $200 - 250 AUD a night - was worth it though particularly as there are no children there.

I agree the Sarojin is an excellent small luxury resort and one of the most popular honeymonn destinations but the rates for November, even special offers, start at 10.952 baht or 353 AUD per night. The rate for Low Season though is half of that. If the OP can find a rate in November for 200 - 250 AUD I agree the difference would be well worth considering.

Wow! I can't believe the price difference! We're thinking of going to the Ramada for our next trip - hoping to get there mid April so we can get to the Similan Islands this time! I loved The Sarojin but want to be closer to restaurants and that next time.

Sorry OP - hijacked your post!

I have stayed at both the Marriott and Le Merdien...I much prefer the Jw marriott. Rooms are nicer, great beach, 3+ km of pools to float around. The breakfast buffet is fabulous. There are some beach eating places nearby, but have never used any. We rent a car and drive into town for dinner. Try the the Candle. Ask for a swim out room. They usually have honeymoon packages also. Nov is a great time to be there.
