Both areas seem more prone to them at times.

I got stung a little bit two weeks ago. The mark is still there and it is itching sometimes. Should I be worried about this?

Yes. I think you should return to Khao Lak immediately and apply some of the soothing Chang treatment.;-)

Rather than go to the doctor just go to your local pharmacy for a more appropriate soothing treatment. A friend of ours still had the marks and some itching from a sting near Paradise Resort on Sunset Beach when she returned to Khao Lak a year later.

Actually, isn't it true that the soothing Singha treatment works even better? :-)

Yes, but you apply Singha externally. I prefer the internal Chang solution. ;-)
