We will be arriving at Phuket international airport and need to get to Kantary Beach Villas. What are the transport options available and costs please?
Contact Boss of Cheaper than Hotel taxis, they are a great reliable service, we have used Boss and his drivers many times now for both transfers and tours, highly recommended
1200bhat from the airport to Kantary
safe travels and happy holidays :-)
Thanks for the information. We have actually considered hiring a car from the airport to Kantary and using it for the time we are there. It might be cheaper for us in the long run. Will contact Boss for tours though.
Looking forward to revisiting Thailand after an absence of 11 years.
PS Enjoy the long weekend
WOW! you will see a lot of changes after 11 years! where are you going besides Khao Lak?
if you are planning to hire a car make sure you get an 'international drivers permit' before you leave home, obtainable from RAC,
you will need it in Thailand even though some rental companies may not directly ask for it!!.....it is Thai law for you to carry one with you, and also for insurance reasons too
have a great holiday :-)
ps: you enjoy your long weekend too
Yes there will definitely be many changes that we will encounter. We are actually going to Vietnam first for 2 weeks....no real plans on what we are doing there as yet. Then on to our favourite place, Penang for a week, a quick 5 day break in Thailand, back to Penang for three weeks and then home.
Its a good way of avoiding 6 weeks of the winter months!
Had a fantastic weekend camping in Gingin...shared my days with millions of bush flies though!!
WOW! that's a great 6 week holiday......have a great time :-)
when are you going?
you are lucky the flies didn't pick you up and carry you away at this time of year, soooo many of them, esp country areas lol
I was out that way myself last week and again for next 2 days, bush flies have been pretty bad (and annoying) this year haha
have a great holiday
