has Khao Lak been affected by any of the recent flooding. am travelling there november 8 for a week??

October is normally a wet month and so far it has been normal, not being affected by the abnormal conditions in Bangkok and to the north.

See this thread from someone there at the moment tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTopic-g297914-i10908-k… and keep an eye on the webcam through the link in the Sticky at the top of the topic listing.

Khao lak got no affected from flood at the moment. however, keep follow local news to update the situation

Its not going to be affected by the existing floods. They are about 800km away and moving in the wrong direction.
