check www.limestonelaketours.com they have an assortment of tours and you can plan one to suit yourselves, a night in a tree house or raft house on the lake is good too, we spent a few hours at the raft houses before moving on with other activities but are going to do a night there next year as it was so beautiful out there,
Khao Sok and the lakes are amazing and not to be missed
To truly appreciate the beauty of the Lake do yourself a favour and spend a night at the Floating Rafthouses... I highly recommend Limestone Lake Tours too... Kris is wonderful to deal with and her prices are great..
You could arrange an elephant trek the following day on the way back to Khao Lak.. truly I would knock a night off elsewhere to spend a night at the rafthouses... its very basic, but amazing food and breathtaking scenery
a tip: wear your lifejacked while swimming.. the lake is full of limestone which makes the water heavy and its VERY deep... throw on the lifejacket, laze in the water and watch a sunset from your balcony...
and also some photo's i have done
Khao Sok http://tiny.cc/jsi7e
and a movie made up from same photo's http://j2zj6
for our driver and tour guide Boss his e-mail is: email@example.com
we chose not to do elephant riding as we have done it before, but he might be able to organize a package including the elephant ride for you too
Thank you both so much for this helpful information. We have very limited time but because of your advice will now try to do at least one night at a floating raft house.
If you can fit it in to do a night that's great but if you don't have time to stay on the raft houses do the day tour as we did this time, its a great day and you can have a look at them for next time, its better to go for the day than not do it at all because of lack of time
sorry that last link i put was wrong
all the best
Thanks very much Mossy....great videos!
Many tour operators can organize the trip for you. Have done with Khao Lak Land Discovery and was happy with them.
Thank you Kutepanda..shall check this one out as well
