See at Khao Lak

We're family with 2 small children and planning to go to Khao Lak, Le Meridian Spa and Resort, at the beginning of March.

How is the see there (at that period)? Calm, waves, wind? Is it ok for small children (3 and 1,5 years)?

Do you find there these fantastic green color of the see?

An alternative could be also Krabi...but from photos and information on net it doesn't look much better.

We would appreciate any of your kind advice!

The sea might be starting to get more rough in March but the Le M is in a sheltered part of the beautiful Pak weeb Beach with a c learly marked swimming area with beeach life guards in attendance and waring flags flying if it is unsafe to swim. The ocean bed does not slope steeply so is OK for children near shore but they should be supervised at all times. The sea is usually that wonderful turquoise colour reflecting the sunshine.

I too like Krabi but the beaches, in my view, are not as nice as Khao Lak.
