weather

Hi I am off to La Flora Resort in Khao Lak on next week. Does anyone know what the weather is like. Also can anyone recommend a good tailor in Knao Lak and a good restaurant for seafood.

Thanks Tracey

There is monsoon until next Monday. Then next week it should be fine. I hope.

Fine in KL again today. Forget about swimming in the ocean though as the seas are too rough.

Hi,

There are many tailors, too many in fact, in Khao Lak but the one I use and therefore recommend is Monty the Tailor who is located in the Khao Lak Grand city plaza, the big yellow building on your right as you enter Bang La On, the main township of Khao Lak - see http://www.montythetailor.com/

As for seafood reaturants, you will probably find the ones on your left from the La Flora on the beach are still open. Others up and on to the Highway in Bang Niang and in Bang La On, particularly Khao Lak Seafood if open.

Khao Lak Seafood is open. Had a nice dinner there last night, although not seafood.

The massaman curry was lovely. Hopefully will make it again before we head off to Krabi.
