Special place for an Anniversary Dinner?

Hi all, we are staying KL for 7days from 13th April - Accom. is booked but nothing else. Hoping just to arrive, relax, then worry about day trips etc.

The 14th is our Anniversary, KL Paradise (where we are staying) have offerred to do a Dinner for us.

Is this a good option, or is there somewhere else (special) we should book? - We love seafood but nothing too spicy.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

First of all congtrats and ggod luck for your anniversary, it's ours oo at the end of March and we are still undecided. As we are staying in a bungalow, we are looking at resort restaurants or one of the less casual restaurants which typify the majority in Khao Lak.

Having said that you have chosen an excellent resort to spend your anniversaty holiday in and friends who've dined at the Paradise say the restaurant is excellent. Certainly when we've called in whn walking the beach or having a look arond the staff have been extremely friendly and attentive. It is in a lovely position just set back on the aptly named Sunset Beach, so in addition to offering you a special menu, perhaps they could serve it to you in a special setting on the beach. If you don't want your food too spicy I am sure the chef will oblige.

The biggest advantage, though, is that you will only be a short staggering distance back to your room after a "few" celebratory drinks!

If you do have a few days to look around for something/somewhere more special when you arrive you will probably only need to give about 48hours advance notice to the Paradise, so keep your options open.

Thanks for that A'

& congrats on your Anniversary also (ours is no. 25! - have now spent most of my life married - feels weird but good).

As we arrive the day before I think we'll stick with Paradise as you suggested. The rest of the week we'll explore the other eateries.

6 wks till we leave!!! Can't wait...
