Sorry another DAYTRip question

Just think about hiring a car versus a car and driver. From what I can gather it would cost us about 1800 for a car for a day. From budget we can get

Daily Chauffeur Driven Exclusive Rate-Budget Thailand

SIPP Code DAILY(8 Hours/Unlimited Kms) Baht

ICAR 2,800.00

So would 8 hour be enough to get to Krabi and back or would we be pushing it. Just thought if we had a driver we could all look at the view, not worry about where we had to go etc...

Any comments greatly appreciated.

You can get a private driver like Mr Sam or Mr Mor for under 2000 baht.... I would get one of them and sit back and enjoy the scenery for sure... guaranteed to not get lost! Do a search in this forum for their contact details!

Would Mr Sam or Mr Mor go to Khao Lak pick up go to Krabi for the day and return to Kl for less than 2000 baht?

It is a very straightforward drive from KL to Krabi and the driver can enjoy it without being distracted.

Alternatively have a look here khaolaklovers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=91 for some local taxi driver contacts who may do what you want when you arrive in KL.
