La Vela is in a pretty good position close to Bang Niang. There are a few places you can eat along the beach - up off the beachfront like the Chong Fah restaurant to the right as you are looking at the beach.

I wasn't well when I was staying in that area so I didn't take much notice of names but there are a few small restaurants along the first part of the road near La Vela and then many more up further towards the Bang Niang markets which is about 1 kilometre away.

If you go into La Vela in Trip Advisor, go to the top of the page and click on Restaurants and there is a drop down option - Restaurants near La Vela. This will bring up all the restaurants from the closest to you.
