    Thinking about going week 1 of May. Any thoughts on how much rain to expect?

    May weather can be a gamble, as it is usually the transition between hot and wet seasons, quite unpredictable and variable place to place. So just plan on hot with maybe the odd afternoon thundershower and you're all set ;-)

    Still hot, some rain, no rain, lots,

    the seasons seem to be pushing further forward, so May being officially the beginning of the wet season means zip..

    always heaps of sun though

    I always go in the first 2 weeks of May and its very hot. I have never had a problem with rain but thats not to say it can't happen.
