In short - no!

Obviously we don't have a crystal ball but March is super hot and one of the drier months.

Have you read this thread which is pinned at the top of the Thailand forum? https://www.tripadvisor.com.au/ShowTopic-g29…

In all likelihood you will welcome any rain as the temperatures are very high at this time of year.

We have been here since January as we are every year and remain until April. This year has been more mixed than usual over that period but although thunderstorms with potential for rain are always shown because it is a tropical climate we have lost no full days at all to rain and no periods, usually late afternoon or evening of rain, lasting an hour at most. The rest of the time has been hot and mostly sunny all day with cooling breezes at the beach and hot but not too humid in the evening.

However it is getting hotter and The coming 17th to 19th of this month a heatwave is forecast with Thailand forecast to be the hottest in all S E Asia with temperatures of 42c mainly in Bangkok and the north but nevertheless warnings in Khao Lak to minimise exposure to the sun between 11am and 2pm.

The tendency for late March is clouds appearing in the afternoon with thunderstorms not necessarily with any rain as the Wet Season approaches.

Hiya I hope we can put your mind at rest re the weather in Khao Lak, we're here right now staying at The Waters (which is fantastic btw), we arrived on 3 March and the weather forecast showed storms every single day and guess what, the weather has been hot and sunny, little bits of cloud, one small downpour which lasted all of ten minutes, and we have enjoyed every minute. I'm sure your weather will be great so take no notice of the forecasts. Have a fab holiday !!👌🌴☀️🍷

We have been here all week and are fried to a crisp! It has been hot and sunny every single day. We too were worried because of all of the unusual rain that had fallen this high season and the forecasts showed rain for our visit too. We have been in Vietnam/Thailand since the 9th and we have barely even seen a cloud. It has been perfect blue skies every day:)
