Hi, we would like to know if there are any fish markets where we can buy Sri Lankan crabs and other types of seafood in Koggala and Galle? Or a good restaurant in Galle for crabs.

There is a fish market in Galle for sure and I don't know about Koggala, but there will be in the nearby towns. There are restaurants in all towns in the area and most serve seafood. We had good seafood in Hikkaduwa, Mirissa, and in Hiraketiya, cant remember the names of the places, but you will not find it hard to find seafood in the area.

In Galle Fort, Deco 44 used to have a great seafood platter.

And do try the Crab Kotthu at the Sugar Bistro
