In most cases, public holidays won't affect much of the tourists activities here in Batam. However, yes, any long weekends or public holidays warrant a huge influx of tourists to Batam. As such, terminals will be more crowded than the usual

They are few ferry companies going to batam from Singapore, which is the better ones? And which terminal is easier if staying in Nagoya Hill hotel?

For Nagoya area, definitely go by Horizon ferry going to Harbour Bay. Less crowd too and less queue

Yes, shops will be opened during National Holidays, Ferry Terminals will be PACKED with tourists and locals from both sides - Singapore & Batam.

Horizon Ferry and Majestic Ferry are better ones. However, BatamFast and Sindo offers more frequencies compared to the latter.

Nagoya Hill Hotel is centrally located - but that area will be packed with tourist and locals. Would suggest you stay a little further away to enjoy peace...
