Udaipur sight-seeing

I will be visiting udaipur for 3 days in September. I was to see the major attractions in a relaxed pace.

I found these cycle tours (hangoutadventures.com/our-cycle-tours/…) which cover most prominent landmarks.

Is this a good idea?

I do not know about this hangoutadventures but what I found from the links you mentioned that they cover a lot places. Few are shopping areas. Still I couldn't find Maharana Pratap memorial and Monsoon palace in their list. I'll very much advice you not to miss Monsoon palace as the sunset view from their is beautiful. Also I believe 3 days is enough to visit Udaipur and nearby places like Chitor so you can in fact relax and choose your places of interest. Do some more R&D and see if the places they they are covering are necessary/ sufficient for you or not.

2. Re: Udaipur sight-seeing

it must be guided tour hence they charge more . otherwise two options

1.

behind Jagdish temple there is Heera Cycle store you can hire a cycle and do the tour your self.

2 you can hire a scooty from Govinda cafe near city palace and do the tour yourself

with cycle it is difficult to go up to mansoon palace. need to hire cab/van for mansoon palace (sajjangarh)
