Travelling to Ranthambore from Fatehpur Sikri

We (a family of 4) plan to travel to Ranthambore from Fatehpur Sikri on the Avadh Express (19040) to Sawai Madhopur.

However, even 90 days in advance, the train always seems to be fully booked when I look at the availability on Cleartrip and IRCTC. Is this normal? Is it really so difficult to reach Ranthambore from Fatehpur Sikri by train, or do we have to consider how we might come by car?
