Katra to Bhavan

Four of us including two kids want to do the Vaishno Devi darshan on May 21. Have been reading that getting helicopter tickets is not that easy and hence trying to explore alternate methods.

How much time would it take on pony from -

- Katra to Bhavan

- Bhavan to Katra

- Sanjichat to Bhavan - in case we get helicopter

Can one also buy VIP Darshan tickets seperately if i dont get helicopter tickets. How much time does one really save with VIP Darshan.

Thanks for any replies.

May is vacation time so it may be difficult to get the helicopter tickets but you can still try on the spot at Katra for them.

If you are on foot and the kids are on the pony, you won't save much time, only the kids wont have to walk so much. Should take you about 5-6 hrs to climb. However, if you all are on ponies, it should take you about 4 hours one way.

Sanjhichhat to Bhavan is about 3 kms,

No, there are no separate VIP Darshan tickets,

Please go through this excellent website by Vaishodevi Shrine Board for more info. https:/…plany_track.asp
