Anything positive?

We are going to Candolim in Feb and this will be our 2nd trip and really looking forward to it .

However, there seems to be a lot of negatives posted at the moment....higher prices, rip off taxi drivers, dodgy shacks, more theft etc.

Has anyone any positives?

Don't let it put you off, just learn from it. Take care of your valuables, and barter barter barter :)

Wall to wall sunshine. Kings and honeybee. Beautiful food. Beach everyday. Lovely people. Mozzies. Handbags. Jewellery. And lots more. Have a great holiday. And no work for a few weeks.

Sparklepom, these negatives have been around for a long time, just that they seem to be highlighted more this season. Don't worry about them and just use your common sense when using taxis, beach shacks etc they're really not worth worrying about, and just have a great time.
