Hi can you swim in the sea near the Dona sylvia or is the sea too rough Thanks.

Mutty, If you are strong swimmer you will be ok, the sea changes on a daily basis some days the waves are very strong others quite soft If they are strong I avoid going into the sea above my knees and even then Ive been knocked off my feet, I dont think it matters whether its north or south Goa it depends on the waves on the day!

As Goanluv says it depends on the tide but you can tell even at ankle depth if there is a strong under-tow. At the Dona Sylvia you can see where two tidal patterns meet and so can tell where the currents are at there strongest. Have a great trip :-)
