Not heard anything about one in Candolim but there were rumours last year that they were building one in Calangute, but that never materialised. I think if they were to build one it would be in Panjim, not that I would be visiting, hate the places it's not just the food it's also all the litter that these places create and one things for sure Goa does not need any more litter.

I'm with Deby. Can't bear these fast food places with polystyrene containers and rubbish everywhere. I could get on two of my favourite hobby horses about nutrition and global warming, but this probably isn't the place. I know there's a McDonalds in Panjim, but I do hope Goa doesn't become a junk food destination.

I hope not they are the bain of my life as all you ever see in the UK is empty Mac bags everywhere.

Can you imagine this in Goa where they are not the best at tidying up anyway!!!!!!!

Not only that but how can you compare the muck that they serve up compared to the beautiful food you can get in the shacks and restaurants.

That will no doubt upset a few people but it’s made me feel better!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think if you asked everyone who loves goa then Mcdonalds would get the big thumbs down, its one of the most well know brands that reflect americanism and western greed. Keep Goa quiet, keep it uncommercialised and keep it Indian, the best tropical destination in the world.

dont care what anyone thinks but i dont mind the odd macdonalds!theres a lot worse things going on in the world as to worry about a macdonalds opening in goa,as for rubbish (the macdonalds rubbish) its people who throw the empty cartons about ,not macdonalds themselves, lol.

What is this talk of McDonalds in Panjim....there isn't one!

There could be one coming up but I'm sure there is not one anywhere in Goa.
