hi all I can say from the main road running through the centre of Candolim it is spitting distance. There is no real centre as such. Everything comes off this main road. When you cross the road and find one of the little side roads it is 5 mins to the beach. (there is one running down the right side of the health centre. This is not for the tourists this is for the locals).

Hi, the Silla Goa is opposite the Mira, just a short walk from the circle at the top of Baga road. Stayed at the Silla Goa a few years ago when it was the Alphaville. It has changed hands since and been improved. It was a lovely hotel.

The Phoenix Park is pretty close to the centre of Candolim, an easy walk to bars and restuarants.

The main beach road is uphill a bit, but nothing drastic.

It is on the wrong side of the road for the beach, so it would be a bit of a walk, but it's easy and cheap to get a taxi there.
